Before launching Ginter Services, he completed eight years of honorable active-duty service in the United States Coast Guard. During his military tenure in California, Chad purchased a condominium and began teaching himself the fundamentals of home improvement and remodeling through hands-on projects. That experience sparked a passion for structural design, renovation mechanics, and practical problem-solving.

Following his military service, Chad relocated to Yorktown, Virginia, where he joined the Newport News Fire Department as a firefighter. Fulfilling a childhood dream inspired by a family heritage of skilled tradespeople—including a grandfather who crafted custom furniture and built home additions, and a father who worked as an electrician—Chad continued honing his trade skills while remodeling his own home.

In response to growing community demand for trustworthy local trade professionals, Chad formally established Ginter Services as a part-time operation. Armed with his own personal tools, he initially provided yard maintenance, handyman repairs, and debris removal. Guided by strict military discipline, precise execution, and transparent client communication, the business quickly expanded through word-of-mouth recommendations.
